At Taunton Training Centre, based at the Halfway Inn, on Westonzoyland Road in Bridgwater. We deliver professional driver training courses and tests with a DVSA examiner on-site. We produce safe, careful, considerate and skilled drivers who go on to be assets to their respective employers - whether they become ambulance drivers, LGV drivers, minibus drivers or bus drivers.

C1 and D1 Driver Training

Drivers who passed their car test after 1997 will need to pass a test to drive these categories:

C1 (7.5 tonne lorry): £995 per course
D1 (minibus): £995 per course
C1+E (7.5 tonne lorry & trailer) and D1+E (7.5 tonne lorry & trailer): £1,200 per course

Course duration: 4/5 days.
Training takes place from Monday to Thursday/Friday.

The test is conducted on the Thursday/Friday
All training is delivered on a 1-1 basis, either in the morning (8.00-12.00) or the afternoon (12.00-4.00).

Once the D1 or C1 licence is activated and the hazard perception and multiple choice theory tests have been passed, please contact us for course dates.

Course prices are inclusive of VAT and the test fee. We require a deposit to secure a course.
